Morning Star Community Development Corporation (MSCDC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, touches the lives of countless individuals and families in the State of New Jersey and beyond.  MSCDUC demonstrates its commitment to community excellence by sponsoring a number of on-going programs and one-time events, designed to meet the needs of everyone – in particular, those with low income.

In prior years, MSCDC has promoted various initiatives to help enhance the lives of citizens.  These endeavors, which have been met with great success and participation by the community, have been fashioned over the years to enhance the opportunity for building relationships between people of all cultural distinctions with various professional and private organizations invited to participate.  We’ve offered forums for family development and economic advancement, as well as a host of other activities fostering community awareness.

MSCDC works to help alleviate the conditions of hunger, homelessness, unemployment, poverty, and illiteracy in urban areas across the State of New Jersey and beyond. We accomplish this by providing emergency services to all in need and by designing long-term approaches to achieving social and economic improvement at the grassroots level. The program is primarily focused on providing job training and placement, drug counseling, prison re-entry counseling and social service resources for families in need. We maximize results and achieve our goals through strategic partnerships, volunteer recruitment and utilizing accessible and user-friendly facilities.
