Sponsors community walks in support of safe community and schools.

Food bank and soup kitchen

Seeks to provide nutritious meals and supplies food to families in need.

Health & Wellness

Teaches, educates, empowers, directs, motivates and inspires individuals to live healthy lives by focusing on the mind and body.

Operation Warm heart

A temporary, overnight, emergency shelter for the homeless that provides a warm bed, a hot meal,  fellowship and social services to our most vulnerable population. This program is housed on the first and third Sunday evenings during the winter season. It is run solely on the kindness of volunteers and donations from Morning Star.

Annual Free School Supplies Giveaway

Families of school-aged children receive free school supplies at the end of summer, just before school starts.  Over the years, thousands of students have received free knapsacks, notebooks, pens and pencils.

The Joseph Project

Is a mentoring program for pre-teens boys whose mission is to coach boys into manhood.

Recovery

Conducts meetings and open discussions about alcoholism, addiction, mental illness, abuse and trauma, gambling and co-dependency.

Scholarship

Provides financial assistance to high school seniors attending college, business or professional schools and/or vocational/technical institutions.

Seniors

Provides transportation, seminars, and recreational activities, promoting healthy and social interaction among the elderly.
